TOP 5 PLANTFORM GAMES

The game stars a cartoonish humanoid star who uses his hands to both move and combat enemies. It was originally released on the Mega Drive, and was also included as an unlockable game in Sonic Mega Collection for the GameCube and on the Xbox and PlayStation 2 and PC as part of Sonic Mega Collection Plus. A Game Gear version which features different levels than the Mega Drive version was also released.
The game is also available in North America on
Sega Genesis Collection for PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable, on Wii's Virtual Console service,[1] and as a part of Sonic's Ultimate

is a 1987 action platform game released by Capcom for the arcades. It was later released for several home computers (ported by Software Creations and published by Go!). Capcom later produced a home version for the Nintendo Entertainment System, also titled Bionic Commando, that was drastically different from the original arcade game. Capcom advertised the game in the United States as a sequel to Commando, going as far to refer to the game's main character as Super Joe (the protagonist of Commando) in the promotional brochure[1], who was originally an unnamed member of a "special commando unit" in the Japanese and World versions.[2][3]
The protagonist of the game is a commando equipped with a bionic arm featuring a grappling gun, allowing him to pull himself forward or swing from the ceiling. The series is notable for being one of few instances of a platform game in which the player cannot jump. To cross gaps or climb ledges, the hero must use his bionic arm.

THIS DONKEY KONG GAME CAME OUT IN 1981is an arcade game developed by Nintendo, released in 1981. It is an early example of the platform genre, as the gameplay focuses on maneuvering the main character across a series of platforms while dodging and jumping over obstacles. In it, Jumpman (now known as Mario) must rescue a damsel in distress, Lady (now known as Pauline), from a giant ape named Donkey Kong. The hero and ape later became two of Nintendo's most popular characters.

CONTRA IS A PLANTFORM GAME THAT WAS ONE OF THE BEST PLANTFORM GAME OF ITS TIME. THIS IS A SHOOTER GAME AND A MAZE LIKE GAME. THIS GAME HAS MANY LEVELS AND WITH ITS ENEMIES SHOOTING AT YOU FROM EVERYWHERE AND IF YOU GET HIT BY ONE BULLET YOU WILL DIE SO ITS A FUN BUT DUFFCULT GAMEIn Contra, the player controls one of two armed military commandos named Bill and Lance , who are sent on a mission to neutralize a terrorist organization called Red Falcon that is secretly planning to take over the Earth. Details of the game's setting varies between supplementary materials: the Japanese versions establishes the game's setting to be a fictional Oceania archipelago of Galuga in the futuristic year of 2633[2][

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night IS A VERY GOOD GAME IT CAME OUT IN 1997 Symphony of the Night was an important milestone of the Castlevania series. It steered the series away from the standard level-by-level platforming formula of older titles and introduced a new style of open-ended gameplay mixed with RPG-like elements that would be emulated by most of its successors. A similar, earlier form of this type of gameplay existed in Castlevania

TOP MAZE GAMES

iFelix and the Fruit Monsterss a video-game released by Micro Power for the BBC Micro in 1983. It is a sequel to the earlier game Felix in the Factory. The game is a sort of Pac-Man clone, in which the player moves around a maze collecting fruit and avoiding the fruit monsters. It was not as successful as the earlier Felix game. It was followed by another sequel

.The gameplay of Ms. Pac-Man is largely identical to that of the original Pac-Man. The player gathers points by eating dots and avoiding ghosts (contact with one loses a life). Power-pellets or energizers change the ghosts, which reverse their course and can be eaten for bonus points. Fruit bonuses can be consumed for increasing point values, twice per level. As the levels increase, the speed and difficulty increase as well.

The objective of Dig Dug is to eliminate underground-dwelling monsters. This can be done by inflating them until they pop or by dropping rocks on them. There are two kinds of enemies in the game: Pookas, round red monsters (said to be modeled dragons after tamatos who wear yellow goggles, and Fygars, green who can breathe fire. The player's character is Dig Dug, dressed in white and blue, and able to dig tunnels. Dig Dug is killed if he is caught by either Pooka or Fygar, burned by a Fygar's fire, or crushed by a rock.
It takes four 'pumps' with the player's action button to inflate a monster until it bursts. If left partially inflated, the monster will deflate and recover after a few seconds, but half-inflating is a useful way to stun an enemy for a few moments, especially to make sure it remains in the path of a falling rock. The player can also pass through the enemy while it is deflating.

The player starts with three, five, or seven frogs (lives). The player guides a frog which starts at the bottom of the screen. The lower half of the screen contains a road with motor vehicles, which in various versions include cars, trucks, buses, dune buggies, bulldozers, vans, taxis, bicyclists, and/or motorcycles, speeding along it horizontally. The upper half of the screen consists of a river with logs, crocodiles, and turtles, all moving horizontally across the screen. The very top of the screen contains five "frog homes" which are the destinations for each frog\

Two distinct player forms creates a relatively complex food chain for a video game. There are other functional differences as well:
The player can open and close the yellow, red, and blue sets of doors at the press of a matching colored button.
The player can store dog bones for later use at his or her discretion by pressing a fourth button — a large round "Doggie Button" with a picture of the dog's head on it.
